They're looking for the next Actuarial Analyst to join the pricing team as an independent contributor to assist with expansion and supporting bid development.
As a member of our team, your primary responsibilities will involve developing rating factors crucial for determining rates. This encompasses performing trend analysis, pricing evaluation, financial assessments, and reporting. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of tools used by underwriters and contributing to state and federal rate filings.

Primary Functions:
Formulate rating factors, including plan relativities, trends, and various adjustments essential for product pricing.
Collaborate with actuaries to determine individual and small group products, plan designs, and rates.
Gather and analyze data from competitors to assist in shaping market strategies.
Monitor the performance of individual and small group product lines.
Compile, verify, and prepare data, generate reports, and perform various levels of analysis and modeling work.
Engage in risk adjustment, reinsurance, and risk corridor modeling.
Prepare state and federal rate filings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, actuarial science, or a closely related field.
Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam administered by the Society of Actuaries.
Proficiency in applying advanced mathematical concepts, including statistics and algebra.
Proficient in personal computer use, including experience with spreadsheet, word processing, and database systems.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
