Actuarial Manager - Life
We are seeking an Actuarial Manager to join one of our clients: A global consultancy based in central Dublin. The ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. As Actuarial Manager, you will be responsible for providing actuarial consulting expertise. You will assist in developing innovative solutions that meet business objectives while also ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide actuarial consulting services, including pricing, reserving and risk management advice
- Engage with clients to identify their business objectives and help develop solutions that meet their needs
- Work in conjunction with other consultants and actuarial professionals to deliver high-quality work products
- Provide training and support to junior staff members
- Ensure that work is completed in accordance with timelines and budget requirements
- Support business development and marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science or related field
- Fellowship in an accredited actuarial society
- Extensive experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a consultancy environment
- Proficient with actuarial software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and build effective business relationships with clients
- Excellent project management and time management skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner
