Capital Reporting Actuary (Qualified)
Birmingham - Hybrid
Within this role, you will be managing a team of 3 student actuaries, and overseeing the regulation production of partial internal model capital for a life insurance business, and will also oversee the estimates of balance sheet impacts for internal management reports and sensitivity analysis.
Other teams within the business will feed their results into your team, and you'll then be responsible for running the processes being the the main 'checker' of complex queries. You will then report to management before results the results are released to the wider business.
To be considered for this role, you will need experience in some of the following:
-Qualified actuary with time spent in a life insurance business
-Experience using Solvency II internal models
-Experience in Capital
-Strong communication skills
-Ability to engage with colleagues in senior positions and from wider teams
-Ability to manage a small team
