Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyse claims data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Assist in creating data-driven strategies to improve claims management processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain a strong focus on data accuracy and quality assurance.
- Provide ad-hoc reports and data analysis to support strategic initiatives.
Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, etc.).
- Proven experience as a Claims MI Analyst or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools, with a strong emphasis on Power BI.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across different teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- A commitment to maintaining data privacy and security.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
