DATA ENGINEER - AWS - SNOWFLAKE - SQL - ETL - PYTHON



I am currently working in partnership with a renowned financial services client who is looking for a number of Data Engineers for a large transformation project.



They're looking to hire 1 Lead Data Engineer and 2 Data Engineers to work alongside.



They are in the process of migrating a legacy data warehouse built on SQL Server platform into Cloud Based platform using AWS-Snowflake.



Responsibilities


  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and data integration processes using SQL, Snowflake, and AWS.
  • Ensure data quality and data integrity across all data sources.
  • Implement and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse



Key Skills

  • Strong SQL programming skills and experience working with Snowflake and AWS data services
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes
  • Understanding of data modeling principles and database design concepts
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and data lake concepts
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages



These are contract roles for an initial 6 months (Long term project), OUTSIDE IR35 paying c£650 for the Lead Engineer and c£600 for the Data Engineers.

The role requires 2 days onsite.
