Your work will directly impact our ability to forecast demand, optimize inventory, streamline transportation, and identify bottlenecks in the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines to support supply chain operations. Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of data integration systems.
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple internal and external sources (e.g., ERP systems, sensors, transport data, supplier databases). Ensure the integrity and quality of data used for decision-making.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Collaborate with data analysts to create real-time dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights for supply chain managers. Develop predictive models to improve demand forecasting, inventory management, and transportation routing.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze supply chain workflows and identify areas for process improvement using data-driven insights. Recommend changes that lead to cost savings, reduced lead times, and improved customer satisfaction.
- Automation & Efficiency: Implement automation tools to streamline repetitive processes, such as order tracking, warehouse management, and supplier communication.
- Collaboration & Support: Work closely with supply chain stakeholders, data scientists, and software engineers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Support various teams in data-related decision-making.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably with exposure to supply chain or logistics.
- Proficient in Python, SQL, and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Spark).
- Experience working with databases (SQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes such as demand forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and transportation.
- Familiarity with machine learning models for predictive analytics is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data insights into business value.
