Senior Software Engineer Mainframe - The job:
The Senior Software Engineer will accomplish several tasks such as:
- Hand-in-hand with the Functional Analyst, translate end-user needs into technical implementations.
- Creating (Global) Technical Design.
- Managing developers, reviewing coding and possibly also programming yourself.
- Testing modified/new applications in cooperation with the application managers.
- Applying the guidelines concerning the release process.
- Paying attention to performance and CPU usage when working out the design.
- Actively participating in the various SAFe ceremonies such as iteration review, iteration planning, etc.
- interacting with different roles (Business and ICT) within the team.
Senior Software Engineer Mainframe - Your profile:
- You have experience in the insurance sector + min 5 years' experience with mainframe, cobol, confluence, gira.
- You have an analytical mind and can translate the conceptual level into a practical elaboration.
- you like taking decisions and engaging yourself in challenges
- In your work, you pay the necessary attention to efficiency and improvement proposals
- You like taking initiatives and you can work autonomously in a SAFe organisation.
