Job Title: Distribution Professional
Reports to: Retail Distribution Manager
Location: Dublin

1. Primary purpose and overall objective of the job

The Distribution Professional will:

  • Support on the field and remotely Captive Bank's distribution channel by:
  • Developing dedicated training session for Unit Linked
  • Cooperate in delivering specific commercial contents and documentation (mainly Power Point)
  • Support the network on daily basis (specials, info request management)
  • Manage the Distributor Digital Platform and keep up to date commercial contents
  • Cooperate in managing commercial newsletters and update investment reporting for the network
  • Extract and elaborate sales data through Business Intelligence platform (Web Intelligence)
  • Support Retail Distribution Manager in coordinating the implementation of yearly Distribution Plan.

2. Context of the job

Distribution Professional will report to Retail Distribution Manager and support Distribution team in delivering team objectives while liaising with multiple counterparties such as:

  • Externally: Commercial Team, Investment Specialists and Area managers, savings team
  • Internally: Investments, Operations, Contact Centre, Products, Marketing and Finance Teams, Staff.

3. Main responsibilities

a. Develop commercial support material and recurrent commercial material:

  • Identify relevant targets, support the team in drafting marketing and commercial support material and appropriate training and post sales materials
  • Develop and refine recurrent commercial reports about product / fund performances
  • Manage and update contents on Distributor Digital Platform

b. Understand and possibly support the development of Unit Linked offer

  • Identify needs and manage training activities for the network
  • Contribute to identify and implement sales activation initiatives to develop the business
  • Understand areas of improvement in order to offer a unique set of investment solutions and excellent services to customers
  • Manage info requests coming from the network and from the contact centre

c. Extract data to populate commercial dashboard:

  • To represent past/current and forecasted results
  • To represent expected results and differences vs budget
  • Business results analysis and recurrent monitoring activities

4. Competencies and qualifications required for the job:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Economics / Statistics / Engeneering


  • 2+ years experience in Marketing and/or Distribution/Sales offices:
  • Italian banking, Insurance, Asset Managers
  • Life insurance business (Ramo III business related is a preferred option)


  • Strong technical skills particularly in Financial markets and financial instruments
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in both Italian and English (both written & oral communication)
  • Ability to work and build relationships with multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Strong capability in using the latest communication technology (Teams, marketing platforms)
  • Pragmatic and results oriented
  • Analytical skills combined with strategic thinking
  • Organisational and project management skills

6. Other information:

  • Candidate should be available to travel between Ireland and Italy as requested by business needs
