Supervise the operations of the Finance Operations team to facilitate accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly and monthly transactions, tasks and controls. Co-ordinate prompt month end closing and ensure timely preparation of monthly journals. Ensure compliance to regulations including ACRA, MAS, IRAS & other relevant regulations.
- Manage and execute finance operations activities to meet, processing, risk management and reporting requirements on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual bases.
- Take every opportunity with Finance Transformation Manager, to simplify and automate financial operations, processing, and control.
- The incumbent is empowered to best manage finance operational activities that will be revised from time-to-time within their team. In addition to their supervisory and review role, the incumbent will conduct some of these activities directly seeking review and approval, where appropriate, from their manager.

- Production of management reports / financial statements
- Monthly / quarterly reconciliation of inter-company accounts
Essentials
- Good technical IFRS and insurance accounting knowledge
- Competent with advance Excel, Microsoft Office
- Experience and user of SunAccount. Understanding its structure, processes, chart of accounts and Reporting processes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance industry
- Operational finance execution and management including within insurance industry
