A market leading global insurance business is looking for a finance Reporting & Accounting Specialist. This London based, hybrid role will see you working as part of a team to oversee all internal & external reporting. You would be responsible for all Planning, analysis and forecasting that takes place with the reporting results, as well as presenting trends and insights within the data to senior stakeholders within the business.
In this role you will:
- Prepare quarterly management reporting for all UK companies
- Prepare MD&A commentaries
- Reviewing of gains & losses analysis
- Reviewing & analysing centralised journal adjustments
- Reviewing & analysing all reconciliations
- Complete acquisition cost analysis reviews
- Manage relationships and liaise successfully with senior stakeholders and various teams throughout the finance function of the business
For this role you should:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), or be working towards qualification
- Have strong knowledge of reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS, SII or US GAAP.
- Effective communication both written and verbal with the ability to build relationships
- Proven problem solver
Desired (non-essential skills):
- Insurance external Audit within practice experience would be a bonus!
