Financial Analyst
For a big international organisation, I'm looking for a Financial Analyst. I'm looking for someone who would like to work on the Long-term budgeting cycle. Someone who likes to work with a lot of data in a complex environment.
Scope and responsibilities
- Perform long term (6 years) budgeting exercise for the whole group using an in-house developed financial model including:
- Extracting mass data from different sources, consolidate, run scenarios and integrate them into a comprehensive report
- Liaising with different stakeholders (commercial team, projects and operations cost control, etc) to obtain and challenge input needed
- Running different scenarios and sensitivities in order to analyse various impacts and translate into business implications
- Performing effective analytical review with appropriate level of detail but at the same time being able to present results in a comprehensive way (helicopter view) to management
- Analyse fleet portfolio on a regular basis using different financial benchmarks such as internal rate of return ("IRR") and return on equity ("ROE")
- Assist in quarterly closing activities mainly analysing projects and fleet performance variance against reforecast and actuals
Skills and experience
- At least 5 years of work experience in an international audit firm and/or a similar corporate position in a large cap listed company
- Advanced skills in Excel (particularly pivot and database) and IT/consolidation tools such as SAP Financial Consolidation
- Experienced in long-term investment portfolio analysis
- Knowledge in building and maintaining financial models will be an advantage
- IFRS knowledge on leasing (IFRS 16) and consolidation (IFRS 10) will be an advantage
- Self-motivated, proactive and ability to function in a tight deadline oriented environment
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
