Where are you going to do this:
For one of our clients, we are looking for a Financial Reporting Officer to join the team and be at the forefront of the financial flow and figures. With a team of almost 13 people, you are, responsible for the stakeholder management, reporting and implementation of changes! You're going to make this happen in a multinational that focusses on life science, health, and bio! Incredible, right?!
What role are you going to have:
As Financial Reporting Officer you participate in the financial consolidation by collecting, judging of and reporting on the financial figures. As well as being a focal point between internal & external stakeholders, different business units and the shared service centres.
What will be your daily tasks:
- Being a focal point between reporting units, Business Groups/Regional Finance centres and the shared service centre on one hand, and the internal and external stakeholders on the other hand, regarding accounting topics.
- Participating in development and implementation projects regarding financial, fiscal and managerial reporting and accounting.
- Be acquainted with requirements for system changes based on new or changed financial, fiscal or managerial reporting changes. Active in the process of testing and implementing of these changes.
- Master data management of consolidation and reporting system.
- Verify data of the actual and forecasted pension and long-term employee benefit positions
- Participate in the fiscal declaration process for the Netherlands.
- Initiate, Support, Monitor or lead several financial activities on group level
What do you need for this:
- Bachelors' or Masters' Degree in Finance.
- 4-year relevant working experience within a accountancy firm or relevant position.
- Knowledge of consolidation and financial reporting processes.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, preferably IFRS.
- Affinity with systems and automation (preferable SAP).
- Fluent in English.
