Our client is seeking to hire Information Governance Officer for their Dublin South offices.

Your Role

As Information Governance Officer for the Ireland Business your main responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

  • Support the Business Unit to fulfil its obligations in respect of Information Governance including the implementation and application of relevant policies, controls, regulations, and guidance aligned to the Data Commitment.
  • Ensure the deployment of approved Information Governance standards consistently across the business and to relevant third parties.
  • Support BU executives and senior managers to drive the Data Commitment agenda in the embedding of Information Governance culture, behaviours, and policies.
  • Provide information governance advice and support to Data Owners & Custodians and projects.
  • Evolve and continuously improve the information governance environment.
  • Maintain ICIF (internal control integrated framework) for Information Governance
  • Communicate, monitor, and encourage the sustained embedding of central and local Information Governance activities-including DLP (data loss prevention), DTIA (data transfer impact assessment), DPIA (data protection impact assessment), AIAF (artificial intelligence assurance framework)-with the support of the Business Unit executive teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration and effective delivery with key internal stakeholders in relation to information governance, data protection, information security, and third-party oversight.
  • Review, monitor and report on Information Governance projects and deliver remedial action as required (e.g. unstructured data, ICIF).
  • Be the conduit between the Group functions and the Business Unit.

Your Skills and Experience

As Information Governance Officer your skills and qualifications will include:
* 3 or more years of experience in related field
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to use planning and organisational skills to deliver on business requirements
* Strong business and industry knowledge
* Delivery focused, with a demonstrated ability in managing multiple tasks

This is a hybrid role which will require 2-3 days in office per week.
