We are looking for an IT Project Manager to lead up projects across the UK&O Region, with projects varying from new Real Estate builds, Digital Workplace, infrastructure implementations as well as system/application implementations and upgrades.
Working within a leading technology organisation, you'll be working as an IT Leader providing an interface between Local Business Teams, Local & Global IT Teams, and any 3rd party service providers. Naturally, dependant on the project, the ability for mobility is a requirement for the role due to travel required for different sites across the country and potentially internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage & successfully deliver multiple complex, high valued & strategic projects concurrently, to time, budget and quality.
- Define, manage, and communicate on the project plan for Projects, including risk and issue logging, time-line updates, key deliverables, budget tracker, resource forecasting - and provide visibility and regular reports to the IT PMO on these elements
- Communicate with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Coordinate with your regional IT colleagues to get their input on the requirements
- Coordinate and manage the relationship with any 3rd parties we choose to work with for our project
- Management of team members through matrix management of a delivery team.
- Working closely with the business and IT teams across the region, understand and analyse their requirements and priorities
- Understand the catalogued services available for projects in the region
- Promote the Regionalisation and Centralisation of services when applicable to projects
- Work closely with the Operational Service Teams and Local Country IT Managers, to transition services into run activities to provide an optimised experience
- Being curious about the brand, it's projects and how technology can empower users as well as offer a best-of-class user experience
- Working as a team with the Infrastructure Manager to utilise the Technical Experts available (be it internal or external) to successfully deliver outcomes
Skills & Experience:
- Proven background in delivering projects as a Project Manager involving IT Infrastructure / Application deployments
- PRINCE 2 practitioner or equivalent project management qualification
- Demonstrable evidence of continuous achievement of key deliverables
- Extensive knowledge of Project Management Governance and Assurance
- Skills to forecast and track project budgets
- Negotiate and manage key suppliers.
Must be within commutable distance of London for a hybrid working approach.
