For an important multinational of the Travel sector, we are looking for an IT Project Manager - ERP Finance to join the IT Applications Delivery team in the ERP Finance area at the Company's headquarters in Genova.
This figure will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, managing project lifecycles, and ensuring the successful implementation of Oracle NetSuite as the new ERP for the company within the Finance domain.
Your responsibilities:
You will ensure the successful implementation of ERP solutions within the Finance domain.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to ERP finance modules.
- You will translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements for ERP system enhancements or implementations.
- You will lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for ERP Finance initiatives.
- You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Business and vendors, to ensure project milestones are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
- You will conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support during system implementations and post-implementation phases.
- You will identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- You will maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate communication between business users and technical teams
- You will ensure systems compliance to SOX, GDPR regulations and to all Company requirements and policies.
Experience required:
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in ERP implementations for global companies, specifically within the Finance domain.
- You have a strong understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Academic background in Informatics or Computer science is considered a plus
- You have experience with ERP systems, ideally with Oracle or Netsuite
- Fluent in English (any other language represents an appreciated skill).
- Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills combined with excellent planning, problem-solving skills make you unique.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) and ORACLE EPM knowledge are a plus.
