Oliver James is supporting a leading life insurer in the search for a day rate contractor to support the business as an IFRS 17 Financial controls senior manager.
The business are looking for a qualified Life actuary (or equivalent experience), with previous experience in an audit, EUC or Risk and controls.
You will take a lead role in the actuarial aspects of the governance reporting for the IFRS 17 project activity. This will include responsibility for monitoring the IFRS7 EUC population and providing QA on the controls
Start: ASAP
Rate: up to £1100/day inside IR35 (Umbrella assignment)
Duration: 6 month initial
Initial: Home working or Nearest office (UK based only)
Desirable Experience: (not all required/mandatory)
- Qualified or Experienced Life Actuary
- Recent Audit experience
- Risk and Controls experience, knowledge of EUCs
- Knowledge of IFRS 17
- Strong communication skills.
