This a very exciting and unique opportunity to join a team that's at the forefront of industry developments, where you'll be exposed to the latest in modelling and risk management problems.

The business is a provider of stochastic models and Economic Scenario Generators, and the position sits within the Analytics Team in the business's Insurance Advisory division, which offers a range of products such as AXIS models and Economic Scenario Generator (stochastic modelling).

You'll be working directly on client projects that are based around Proxy generators, stochastic modelling, statistical techniques, regression techniques, capital modelling / validation and the new climate change (risk) modelling projects that the business is now working on. You'll be using tools such as ESG, VBA, R, Python and C#.

Within the role you will also be:

  • Responsible for the implementation of model calibration projects within the team, focusing on internal model capital modelling projects
  • Provided with in-depth training sessions around these products and quantitative modelling techniques
  • Producing analytical work for clients based on financial modelling to risk management problems
  • Working with the modelling operations team to run nested stochastic scenarios

To be considered for this position, you will need at least 2 years actuarial experience, and an active interest in the topics listed above. No prior experience is needed.
