Pension Onboarding Specialist

  • Successfully on-board new schemes into the operating model making sure that all administration and valuation requirements are met
  • Work closely with Transition Managers to deliver successful onboarding
  • Support the Head of Pension Operations in providing a high level of service to clients and policyholders at all times
  • Understand work within Pension Corporation's Guideline on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)

  • Work closely with the transition manager to deliver successful onboarding for the life insurer and Scheme Trustees
  • Take a lead role in on-boarding new schemes into the life insurer operating model making sure that:
  • All scheme benefits are fully understood and specified
  • Incoming data is fit for purpose for administration
  • Incoming data is fit for purpose for actuarial valuation
  • Parallel payroll and increase runs have been fully tested and signed off
  • Complete detailed analysis to make sure data is ft for purpose and satisfies all the life insurers requirements
  • Take a lead role in data reconciliation and data verification work
  • Includes shadow payroll and pension increase testing
  • Work closely with the outsourced administration team to make sure all onboarding requirements are met, such as:
  • Calculation automation

o Website release

o All processes and documentation required

Work closely with the internal actuaries to make sure valuation data requirements are fully understood and documented

o Resolve data issues as required to achieve this

Prepare (and present where required) MI to the life insurers internal stakeholders and Senior Management

*

Lead calls/meetings with outsourced administrator to achieve desired timeframes and outcomes

*

Identify and implement improvements/efficiencies in the administration model
