Principal Data Scientist
The opportunity: Our client, an established global organization in the financial services industry, is looking for a Principal Data Scientist to drive data science solutions in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption of new data science initiatives within the organization, working with key stakeholders to demonstrate the benefits to the business
- Develop machine learning pipelines to streamline and automate deployment of models
- Lead research on new data science approaches
- Work with IT and other Data teams to ensure data infrastructure is sufficient to support data science projects
- Guide and mentor data scientists in the team
- Keep up to date on industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies
Requirements:
- Master's degree
- Solid experience in development and implementation of data science solutions
- Strong knowledge in machine learning, advanced statistical techniques and other data science concepts
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Aware of the latest trends in tech and data
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate into data science solutions
