Oliver James are currently partnered with a market leading Insurance firm in their search for two Reinsurance Actuaries.
My client are looking for a nearly or newly qualified actuary. The role will require the successful candidate to be able to build relationships with reinsurers and develop any new framework agreements and structures. You must also be able to demonstrate you have commercial acumen by managing any new structuring opportunities. This will also include working with the capital teams on capital optimisation and allocation work.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Assessing reinsurance transaction flows
- Manage tender processes with reinsurance partners
- Work with the deal team on any bidding processes
It would be desirable for the successful candidate to have either have Reinsurance or annuities experience. Other Life Insurance experience will be considered.
The role is City based but they can support 2/3 days in the office a week.
