Market leading Risk Settlement team seeking a qualified Actuary to join them as a lead transaction adviser across a significant portfolio of clients | Based from any UK location with hybrid working (full or part time role)











Oliver James are pleased to be working with a market leading Risk Settlement team seeking a qualified Actuary to join them as a lead transaction adviser across a significant portfolio of clients.

Working with a range of experts and specialist sub-teams you will work on a range of transactions across the pension risk transfer market, including buy-ins, buy-outs, wind-ups, longevity swaps, and consolidation/capital solution. You will also help clients on their strategic 'Journey to Settlement', including preparation for approaching the settlement market and feasibility.

Role requirements:

  • FIA qualified
  • Experience of working on a wide range of settlement transactions
  • Experience of working within a reputable pensions consultancy with a wealth of UK DB pensions experience

This role will allow you to have a broader impact beyond just your clients, by helping to develop new business initiatives, propositions and marketing strategies. You will also work alongside Life and General Insurance specialists to offer a holistic approach when advising clients.
