For our international customer active in the sustainability industry, we're currently looking for an automation engineer to join their team to work on different projects from A to Z.
JOB
- You join the internal team, starting from the proposal or tendering phase and are responsible in making the control system proposals (both pricing and technical documentation)
- You're responsible to make the specifications for control system supplier selection and follow-up on the ordering
- One of the scopes in your job will be hardware (controllers, remote I/O islands) and network design
- You will do the detailed process design (automation functional descriptions, control loops and safety system) in cooperation with the process department
- You are responsible to oversee the programming (both PLC and DCS), alone or managing a group of programmers both from the supplier
- You will be present during the installation of the control system on site where testing will be a big part of the job
- In this position you will report to the Automation Manager
PROFILE
- Bachelor or Master degree in electromechanics
- Knowledge of both hardware and software
- At least 4 years of experience
- Ideally you also have experience in project management
- Nice to have: knowledge Siemens S7 - PCS7 - T3000 - Scada WinCC - system and network design
- You're okay with international travelling for 25% of the time. Depending on the phase of the project this will be more important.
