A leading insurance business is looking to hire a senior BI analyst on a permanent basis to join a new team of analysts supporting with BI for stake holders across the business.

This role will allow you to work with stakeholders working on different data sets across a range of line of business.

Key responsibilities;

  • Co-ordinating with the business to understand reporting and data requirement specifications
  • Documenting engagement proposals for the work and resources required
  • Providing input into analysis of data gaps in existing infrastructure that will need to be resolved in order to deliver datasets
  • Collaborating with our data engineering team to validate datasets and build reports
  • Supporting our key stakeholders to understand and resolve issues

Key Skills;

  • Experience with SQL Management Studio, Excel and Power BI (or similar BI tool)
  • Strong understanding of general insurance business as a whole
  • Experience working on data analysis with relation to insurance reporting and MI delivery
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
  • The ability to work closely with the client to determine acceptable solutions.
