Oliver James are partnered with an esteemed Global leader in the Insurance industry, who are recruiting for a Senior Compliance Officer to join their Midlands office. For this role, you will be required to work in the office 2 days a week and 3 days at home.

This role will report into the Senior Compliance Manager, where you will be supporting the wider compliance team alongside 2 other Officers in the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements, in particular the implementation of Consumer Duty.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key regulators.
  • Submit Regulatory Returns in a timely manor.
  • Working alongside the Conduct Risk team.
  • Assisting in drafting Conduct Review reports.
  • Maintain and review compliance policy documents.
  • Provide progress updates to the Global Head of Compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience working within compliance, insurance or financial services background preferred.
  • Knowledge of the London Insurance market would be beneficial.
  • A proven track record working within compliance and regulatory reporting.
  • A strong ability to multitask and act as the point of contact for the wider compliance team.
