DATA ARCHITECT - AZURE - DATA Factory - SQL - DATA Bricks
I am working in partnership with a renowned financial services client looking for a Data Architect. You will be the first data architect on the team working directly with the CDO and other Data leaders.
They are seeking an individual with significant experience across the Azure Data Stack and sound Insurance data knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines and workflows
- Build and maintain schemas, data models, and storage solutions to facilitate data transformation and accessibility
- Design and implement APIs and other mechanisms for data consumption
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies
Key Skills
- Expert in data governance processes
- Extensive experience in data architecture, data modelling, and database design
- Able to create data dictionaries and taxonomies
- Design and modelling experience across a range of domains
- Strong knowledge of data integration, transformation, and processing techniques
- Familiarity with various data storage and processing technologies, such as relational databases, NoSQL, and data warehousing
- Significant experience across the Azure data stack including: (Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Synapse, SQL Pools, Data Bricks, Data Lakes and Functions (ideally c#))
- Proficient in data-related programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or R
- Experience in architecting APIs
- Ability to produce and manage automated alerting systems for data pipelines
- Eligible to work in the UK.
This permanent role pays up to c£110K+(With Package and bonus), remote working with infrequent visits to the London or regional offices.
