Senior Product Manager, Marketplace (Remote Position)

Job Description

Summary The product and design team leads the retail, distributor, manufacturer, and future market solutions. We are committed to human-centered design, agile, and product-minded principles, it uses a lean-agile based framework where product pods drive the quarterly roadmaps. Each product manager within the team is fully accountable for maximizing the value of the solutions and working to mature those solutions. The design team ensures we have the very best user experience, user design, and content across all our tools and solutions.

Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage your pod backlog, daily stand-ups, sprints, refinement, showcase, roadmaps, OKRs and retrospectives by conducting research, business analysis, requirement development, customer usability, security, defects, pilot frameworks and/or systems thinking for your pod. Your pod will be accountable for building the primary user experience and marketplace integration, features, and account management services as well as the integrated API between all participants in a highly complex ecosystem.

Your primary day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Align with your Sr. Product Manager on strategy and roadmap as well as market analysis and dependencies
  • Maintain Jira boards, Confluence requirement development, and all daily/weekly Agile ceremonies for your team
  • Prioritization techniques to manage backlog, velocity and burn down of stories and features supporting the larger Epics and Initiatives of your pod and TQA
  • Deliver and manage the product pod roadmap and objectives
  • Manage the progress of the product expansion, including participant relationships
  • Ensure TQA vision is supported and fulfilled by the product teams

You will lead through the following:

  • Architect, build, lead and scale the services including pilots when needed and all production phases
  • Develop the on-going product roadmap for and track progress of its Objective Key Results (OKRs) and Features
  • Develop product and business process maps that are supported by your team's products and services in standard process mapping tools/services (lucid, iGrafix, etc)
  • Develop materials to facilitate change management activities with the customers, partners, and industry as needed
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper build out and integration with internal and external platforms
  • Support the on-going business case by researching market demands, dynamics, and other data inputs
  • Align OKRs, Epics, Features and User Stories to the quarterly planning and customer/partner value
  • Ensure all cross-functional dependencies are articulated, managed, and addressed by all stakeholders and product managers
  • Partner with design team on customer feedback sessions, listening labs or usability
  • Develop and maintain governance models and artifacts for the team's products and services

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful implementation and go-to-market of an eCommerce platform that involves both buyers and suppliers is required
  • S or higher - engineering, computer science or other relevant degree
  • 5+ years' experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams with some senior leadership exposure
  • 5+ years' experience in product management, consulting, supply chain logistics fields
  • Certification as a product manager, scrum master or related agile process - Experience leading technical teams with agile methodologies
  • Experience around supply chain, operations & logistics use cases
  • Strong analytical acumen and demonstrated experience developing business cases
  • Strong experience leading highly matrixed organizations, products and transformation level change
  • Ability to travel at least quarterly
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • S or higher in relevant fields
  • Experience in replacement tire or auto-aftermarket industry
  • Understanding of underlying AI, ML, blockchain, and SAAS/Cloud technology
  • Certification in human-centered design or customer engagement models
  • Certification in process engineering, BIZBOK, or Six Sigma
