Title: Senior Backend Engineer - Java/AWS
Type: 12 Month Contract - C2C/W2
Location: North Carolina/Remote
Rate: $65-75/hr
We are partnered with a leading Financial Services group who are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who is skilled in Java Development & has extensive knowledge of AWS components to drive the migration of applications from on-prem to cloud.
Skills Needed:
- 8+ years of experience in Java based application programming
- Sound knowledge of AWS stack components such, ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, Glue, Amazon Elastic Load balancing
- Proven experience working on migrating applications from any on-prem servers to AWS
- Experience with IAM roles, security policies, ECS and EKS cluster.
- Experience of deployment of applications using Docker containers
- Perform CICD using Jenkins for deployment of application docker containers
