I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to join a multi-award winning firm of business advisors and accountants in Manchester.
Senior Tax Manager - Permanent - Manchester / Hybrid
The role;
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the department to ensure work is delivered within the budget and timeframes set
- Ensure departmental deadlines and policies are adhered to, monitor potential issues and take action to overcome problems
- Design and implement planning processes to ensure department schedules meet customer needs and statutory deadlines
- Develop and communicate business plans, opportunities and ideas for improvement to Directors to ensure the continued growth and progression of the department
- Recruit and develop a skilled and dedicated team who deliver a quality service to clients
The chosen candidate must obtain the following;
- Significant experience within a similar role (Tax Manager, Assistant Tax Manager, Tax Accountant)
- Recognized accounting qualification (AAT, ACA, ACCA)
- Previous performance within a Consultancy or Advisory position is desirable
