As a vital link between business and IT teams, you'll play a key role in shaping innovative solutions that align with the company's APAC's core values. In this dynamic role, you will not only perform the duties of a Scrum Master when needed but also assist our Product Owners in prioritizing backlogs and work closely with the Delivery Lead to deliver exceptional results through Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Embrace Agile Excellence: Champion Agile methodologies to deliver maximum value efficiently, collaborating with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
- Drive Change: Facilitate business transformations and continuously improve processes and operations for enhanced efficiency.
- Build Trusting Relationships: Become a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and Product Owners, identifying opportunities and providing insightful recommendations.
- Engage & Elicit Requirements: Work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather requirements using tailored techniques that suit each situation.
- Communicate Effectively: Manage stakeholder expectations with clear, timely updates, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
- Analyze & Innovate: Conduct thorough system analyses to understand current processes and provide innovative technical solutions to meet business needs.
- Document with Precision: Create detailed documentation of "as-is" and "to-be" states while considering diverse audiences including business stakeholders, developers, and testers.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Organize workshops and discussions to present information, explore alternatives, and resolve issues collaboratively.
- Manage Deliverables: Oversee BA deliverables such as user stories, process diagrams, and functional specs while ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders.
- Mentor & Inspire: Guide team members on Scrum practices while promoting a collaborative environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Experience Matters: 7+ years of Business Analysis or Product Owner; insurance or insurtech background is a plus!
- Stakeholder Savvy: Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders from technical to business roles effectively.
- Complex Systems Knowledge: Experience with large-scale IT systems comprising multiple integrated applications.
- Thriving in Ambiguity: Demonstrated success in managing services in complex, fast-paced environments where ambiguity is common.
- Educational Background: Tertiary qualifications in Business or Information Technology are highly desirable.
Skills:
- Agile Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
