Oliver James is currently recruiting for a Trainee Product Actuary on behalf of our client, a leading Life Insurer as they continue to grow their Actuarial function.
The successful candidate will be a key part in the Product team and involved a wide variety of work from analytically work to sitting on the development side of the business which will allow you to develop your technical and interpersonal skills while providing experienced support to the wider business and key senior stakeholders.
A typical day-to-day will look like but not be limited to the following;
- leading product development initiatives while assisting in the shaping of said initiatives
- assisting and implementing regulatory change
- Delivering product development projects from a- z including managing key stakeholder expectations
- Work with the wider business via project work to ensure product strategy and design are aligned with the business's strategy/plan.
This opportunity will suit an ambitious junior actuary looking to take the next steps in their career with at least 3 years in a life actuary position.
