Our client is seeking an experienced AML supervisor with experience at senior/review level, to add depth and support to the operations team. They are particularly interested in individuals that have experience working on more complex AML reviews who are familiar with entities like Companies, Trusts, Nominees, Subsidiaries, Collective Investment Schemes etc. Experience working on EDD reviews beneficial but not mandatory.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Take ownership of all stages of the account opening process; starting from an AML review to Final Review and Risk Assessment - escalating any issues as necessary
- Assessment of AML risks depending on the client's jurisdiction, legal, regulatory position and commercial activities
- Assisting with the internal audit processes
- Assisting in the creation and review of internal AML procedures
- Assisting with any projects
- Client Care and engagement with external stakeholders
- Ensuring teams development and quality while ensuring daily deliverables are met
- Participate in Client Due Diligence (CDD) Process, including managing high risk Clients
- Supervise the weekly screening process, including sanction updates
- Participate in review of different jurisdictions, updating risk categories as necessary
- Checking and sending internal and external reporting
- Supervising/assisting with collating any samples for audit / regulatory purposes
The ideal candidate will likely have:
- AML experience from a Fund Administration environment
