Global Bank requires Chief Information Security Architect for its technology (Shared Services) department.
My client, a global bank (Investment, corporate, commercial & retail) requires a Chief Security Architect to join its Shared Services division to drive its multi-year security architecture strategy & build a team that better integrates infrastructure with development teams. A key focus of this role will be building security architecture controls into the AGILE software development space. Those with a demonstrable track record delivering strong DevSecOps practices at enterprise level are encouraged to apply. Details below:
8 direct reports globally (mainly North America & Europe). Inheriting a team size of between 25-30.
Ideal candidate will drive security architecture delivery into development communities as well as infrastructure teams. Exposure to AWS and Azure preferred. Familiarity with modern software development practices is essential. Those with experience automating builds using JIRA and Jenkins highly sought after.
Key stakeholders will include: CIOs, heads of infrastructure, automation services, senior engineers for applications, CTOs, Broader CISO function and heads of engineering.
Depth of experience across servers, networks, databases at enterprise level organizations preferred.
This most saliant purpose of this role is to close the gap between cyber and the development community in meeting "Link Control Processes" required by cyber architecture.
Other priorities for the successful Chief Security Architect include:
Maintaining the Group-wide Security platform strategy, maintained annually. Re-authoring this will be an imminent need on joining the bank. Strategizing how to define and evolve control architecture and document what to invest in for years to come.
