A global insurance carrier is looking to hire a Claims Director for their Public D&O team. In this senior technical role you will be responsible for a caseload of complex Public D&O arising from Financial Institutions. Claims will range from $25,000 to $500,000 in value and involve complex litigation and coverage analysis. You will also manage key client relationships and provide technical oversight for more junior claims examiners.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 4+ years Public D&O claims experience gained within insurance / legal
- Exposure public D&O, FI and related E&O claims essential
- Exposure to other related professional lines beneficial - e.g. private D&O or E&O
- Exposure to litigation and complex coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- Bachelors Degree essential. JD highly preferred but not essential
This role required 1 day in office per week with 4 days remote, with an excellent salary up of $150,000 + 15% on-target annual bonus, along with excellent benefits and a clear career path for the future.
