The Clinical Informatics Specialist will independently lead and offer guidance for the ongoing development, enhancement, and optimisation of clinical systems and technology impacting patient care and operational efficiency across the system.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and optimisation of clinical systems and technology, focusing on patient care and business operations.
- Document specifications for tools and systems supporting organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Utilize data to drive process improvements related to electronic medical records.
- Communicate system changes and provide support to end-users.
- Evaluate user adoption of new technology.
Qualifications:
- Post-graduate degree in Nursing Informatics, Health Informatics, or related fields, or a clinical background with informatics experience.
- Four years of Clinical/Nursing/Health Informatics experience, with Epic experience preferred.
- Completion of EPIC Clinical Content Builder series or related certifications.
- Professional informatics certification required within 12 months if master's degree is not in informatics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPIC Certification.
