Our Maritime client is currently looking for a Compliance, Senior Executive addition to their Legal & Compliance team. This position will ensure that the Company operates in full compliance with all the legal requirements, industry specific regulations and guidelines as well as internal compliance policies.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Review policies and procedures to ensure that these are updated regularly to comply with regulatory requirements
- Conduct screening of all new and existing counter parties for restricted, sanctioned and prohibited individuals and entities; screening cargo supply chains and vessels for regulatory violations and escalating any adverse findings to the Deputy General Counsel
- Prepare KYC documents for an on behalf of affiliated entities
- Maintain internal Counter party Registration and Management System - ensuring that it is run in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Analyse information and documents submitted by counter parties from a legal, compliance and fraud prevention perspective
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or other relevant qualification
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in fraud risk management, investigations, risk, internal controls or compliance function
- Knowledge of compliance, sanctions and anti-money laundering legislation and regulatory framework is a must
- Ideally from a transportation or maritime industry, however, open to other industry experience as well
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
