Responsibilities:
- Planning, organizing, directing, and managing day-to-day operations for clinical applications.
- Analyzing departmental budgets, supervising staff, and managing employee performance.
- Providing ongoing performance feedback, training, and skill development for employees.
- Monitoring workflow and attending educational in-services.
- Participating in professional activities to stay updated on industry trends.
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to generate reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Interpreting regulations and establishing procedures for compliance.
- Performing related responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent preferred.
- 4 years of experience in healthcare information technology, including project management, personnel management, and application production support.
- Combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred qualifications include managerial experience and population health experience with Epic Certification. This position requires strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills, along with a thorough understanding of healthcare information technology and regulatory compliance.
