A new and exciting opportunity has just become available for our leading retail client here in Hong Kong. We are looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst, who will able to help our client with exciting transformation and integration projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Gathering and analyzing business requirements: The ERP Business Analyst works with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translates them into functional requirements for the ERP system.
2. System configuration and customization: The analyst is responsible for configuring and customizing the ERP system to meet the specific needs of the organization, including setting up workflows, data structures, and user interfaces.
3. Testing and quality assurance: The analyst conducts testing to ensure that the ERP system meets the business requirements and is free of defects. They may also be involved in user acceptance testing to validate the system's functionality.
4. Training and support: The analyst provides training to end-users on how to use the ERP system effectively. They also provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system issues.
5. Change management: The analyst helps manage the organizational change that comes with implementing a new ERP system, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
6. Business process improvement: The analyst works with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through the use of the ERP system.
7. Project management: In some cases, the ERP Business Analyst may be responsible for managing the implementation of the ERP system, including coordinating with vendors, managing timelines, and ensuring successful deployment.
- Based in or currently relocating to Hong Kong
- Degree holder preferably in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Management Information System or similar qualifications;
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an IT ERP Business Analyst or similar consultant-like roles working in management consulting firms, Big 4 accounting firms or any large complex organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (MUST) and Cantonese (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
