I am looking for multiple profiles across Property and Casualty Underwriting. You will be responsible for the technical underwriting and the management of some of the business's top global clients based all around the world. The role will be based in Paris but reports directly into the UK Client management team, so fluency in English will be required + ideally another language.
A summary of the role:
- Underwrite and maintain a highly profitable book of treaty business with global accounts
- Provide technical support and training to the wider teams within the group
- Monitor trends and maintain technical profitability
- Contribute to the strategy, planning and projects of the global team
The skills and experience that you'll need:
- 8 + years of experience working in Reinsurance Treaty across P&C Lines
- Strong understanding and grasp of technical underwriting, pricing methodology and treaty wordings
- Prior experience working directly with other Underwriters, global clients/brokers with a commercial mindset
- Strong communicator
- Ability to work with wider teams and a strong level of synergy
- Strong negotiation skills
Salary - Extremely competitive salary + a good overall package and potential for long term incentives (Stock options etc)
Working from home - 2 days a week
Travel - some travel required but not too much
