Financial Reporting Accountant

- Prepare and analyse accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and periodic financial reports.
- Perform variance analysis to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial data and insights.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Conduct financial research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
Key Skills:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is highly preferred.
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (IFRS, UK GAAP)
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Insurance experience required
