Oliver James is currently keen to speak with qualified accountants with 1 - 3 years post qualified experience. We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global insurance organisation. The multinational the company operates in over 70 countries and jurisdictions, providing a wide range of insurance products and services.

The Financial Reporting Accountant will assist in the preparation of board reporting for the European branch, including quarterly financial reports and annual financial statements. This role involves supporting the external audit process and contributing to the transformation of Controlling teams to enhance data quality, process consistency, and effectiveness. This is an exciting role providing support to the Financial Reporting Manager.

Some of your key responsibilities will include;

  • Preparation of local statutory returns across the group and support the controlling teams.
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Solvency II reporting

Key Requirements;

  • Fully qualified accountant
  • Technical accounting expertise with understanding and interpretation of IFRS
  • Experience in a complex multinational corporation or insurance organisation an advantage
