Our Client is an international Insurance/Insurtech. They are seeking a Junior/Mid Group finance accounting specialist to join their already established team.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in the further development of Group Accounting
- Implementation of new IFRS standards in accounting
- Focus on investment portfolios including valuation of assets, equities, fixed income and real assets
- Participation in the implementation of IFRS 17, the innovative management and accounting of insurance portfolios
- Participation in strategic special projects
- Calculation of key figures and their interpretation as well as derivation of recommendations for action;
- Participation in the continuous automation and digitisation of accounting
Essential Factors:
- Successfully completed business studies
- First professional experience in the field of accounting, auditing or consulting
- Knowledge of accounting including IFRS 9 and IFRS 17
- IT Affinity
- Business proficient in English and German
- Confident use of MS Office and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Handling data and creating analyses, logical structure of queries
- Independent / self-reliant way of working
