The Role
Head of ServiceNow Development | We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of ServiceNow Development on behalf of an established Financial Services business that has operations across the US. This role can be delivered 100% remotely (from within the US) but there would also be an opportunity for someone to spend some time in their nearest office location if they would prefer to do so. This Head of ServiceNow Development role will suit an experienced technology leader that has a strong technical background in IT Development and a passion for building / leading teams
Head of ServiceNow Development Requirements
- Strong experience of designing, developing and deploying solutions in the ServiceNow eco-system
- Excellent underlying development skills and expertise in Java, JavaScript, XML, etc
- Previous experience of leading or managing a development function
- Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB and other ServiceNow products (Ideally HRSD, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with excellent inter-personal skills
- Solid understanding of emerging trends and technologies within the ServiceNow eco-system
- Experience with code-reviews
- Experience with recruiting and building teams
This Head of ServiceNow Development role will combine team leadership / management with some hands-on technical work and will suit someone who is happy to continue staying close to Technology, rather than focusing purely on management. It could also be a great fit for someone who is currently a Development Manager and is looking to take the next step in their career development, or alternatively someone who is already an established Head of Department. In order to be suitable for the Head of ServiceNow Development, you must have experience of line management and must also have been responsible for building / recruiting teams previously.
