Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Finance Business Analyst ideally with expertise in Oracle Financials systems to join our client's team in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Analysis and possess in-depth knowledge of IT Finance Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements related to finance processes, systems, and technologies.
- Design and implement solutions that align with business objectives and leverage IT systems functionalities.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend best practices for optimizing financial processes within the organization.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of Oracle Financials Cloud solutions.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for finance systems, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to finance systems and technologies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement in finance operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on insurance or banking.
- IDEALLY Proficiency in Oracle systems, with hands-on experience in implementation and configuration.
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Oracle Financials Cloud or related technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.
