We are looking for a highly skilled IT Finance Business Analyst with expertise in financial services, specifically in insurance or banking, to join our team at a prominent Financial Services company. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements for finance systems and processes, with a focus on IFRS 17 implementation.
- Analyze current finance systems and processes to identify gaps and recommend solutions that align with IFRS 17 requirements.
- Design and implement changes to finance systems to ensure compliance with IFRS 17 standards and best practices.
- Work closely with technical teams to configure and customize finance systems to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new finance systems and processes related to IFRS 17.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of finance systems post-implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to IFRS 17 and finance systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on insurance or banking.
- Experience with IFRS 17 implementation in a financial services setting.
- Strong understanding of finance systems, processes, and regulations, particularly related to IFRS 17.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies related to finance systems (e.g., Oracle Financials Cloud) is a plus.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in financial services, including IFRS 17.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
