Title: IT Operations Manager
Location: Richmond, VA (On-Site)

Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000k
The IT Operations Manager will be crucial in managing the organization's IT functions on a daily basis, ensuring the efficient and uninterrupted flow of technology services - working in close partnership with peers, external experts, and service providers from a variety of fields.
This position requires a 'jack-of-all-trades' type profile, with a robust technical foundation combined with the ability to pivot & be adaptable to organizational changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the upkeep of the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring the optimization and continuous improvement of the technology environment.
- Lead the execution of essential IT processes related to manufacturing and probe into any IT deviations occurring within manufacturing operations.
- Foster and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, establishing a communication strategy to keep relevant parties informed about ongoing projects and their impact.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities in addressing and resolving issues.
- Take full ownership of problems until they are resolved, involving the right team or team member as needed.
- Oversee the installation and updating of hardware and software, collaborating with IT colleagues to set up and adjust these technologies.
- Supervise system performance, proposing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
- Guarantee the delivery of high-quality service, system reliability, security measures, and recovery solutions.
- Generate reports and maintain documentation of operational levels or service agreements with internal clients.
Skills Needed:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Operations within dynamic and complex organizational settings.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Operations Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Network-related certifications are highly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven capability in supporting IT infrastructure within strictly regulated sectors.
- Proficient across a range of technologies including Network switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, both Server and Client operating systems and hardware, and infrastructure cabling.
- Effective time management abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 365 and Virtual Desktop infrastructures.
- Experience in managing, maintaining, and supporting Audio Visual systems.
- Acquainted with industrial control systems/operational technology components and systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS, process automation systems, MES, etc.).
