From Oliver James, we're looking for an IT support person to join the team of one of our top clients. In this case, it's an opportunity as an external contractor (freelancer), working part-time (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 24 hours per week) for at least 6 months with the possibility of contract extension or even expanding working hours.
This is an on-site position in Barcelona where fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to support requests via email or ticketing system.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and update software applications as needed.
- Assist with user account management and access control.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT team for resolution.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to minimize user downtime.
- Document support activities and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Follow up with users to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution.
