Network Architect - Hybrid - £75,000
We're looking for an Network Architect to join a an innovative, market-leading company. Working closely with all the senior leadership to determine strategic priorities and lead major programmes and manage teams delivering process improvements.
You will provide technical leadership for unified communications and network architecture across the UK and Ireland. You'll define the roadmap ensuring that the business integrates unified communications and network into the adoption and use of all new technologies and information systems.
Working on large scale migration projects, our client is looking for someone who has extensive experience working with heavily with Azure networking and large scale data.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing vision and direction for the network and unified communications platform roadmap, driving simplification of the network and unified communications platform technology estate.
- Identifying and evaluating the network and unified communications platform tools, vendors and partners including early identification of emerging tools and vendors to meet our future needs
What we're looking for:
- Architecture design experience either as a network and unified communications platform architect or a solution architect with network and unified communications platform experience, leading architect experience on a large-scale network project.
- Working knowledge of IT Network tools, principles and standards, e.g. ISO 2700x, SANS Critical Controls, CESG 14 Cloud Network Principles, ISF Standard of Good Practice
- DevOps best practice e.g. Application Development lifecycle, network functional requirements
- Extensive experience in Azure.
