About the Role:
This role offers a unique opportunity to provide expert guidance and ensure compliance with outsourcing and privacy regulations. You will collaborate with the Head of Compliance/DPO to support daily operations and projects related to privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and implement systems and documentation for outsourcing and privacy compliance.
- Maintain adherence to all applicable laws and regulations relevant to the insurance industry.
- Contribute to creating and executing action and monitoring plans.
- Assist with compliance risk assessments and analysis.
- Monitor compliance risks and report findings internally and externally.
- Ensure the organization has adequate policies, procedures, and knowledge in relevant areas.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a financial institution (life insurance preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations.
- Fluency in English and strong proficiency in French or Dutch (understanding of the other national language a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on solutions and results.
- Effective communication skills with a variety of stakeholders, including senior management.
