Our client, a leading Alternative Asset Manager with around 10 billion in AUM, is looking for a senior fund accountant to join their fund accounting team. Our client is currently working on a hybrid schedule in downtown Chicago and is offering competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of all internal data and information for Capital Calls, including Distributions and Allocations to investors
- Preparing and reviewing cash flow and forecasting
- Participate and review internal audit and tax preparation
- Completing quarterly and year end close reporting, including financial statements, capital account statements and account reconciliation.
- Utilise internal software system to track and maintain information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA is a plus
- At least 3-4 years of fund accounting experience, with a strong understand of private equity and venture capital funds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
