My client, a hedge fund, is seeking a Project Manager to join their Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology team on a long-term contractual basis. The successful GenAI Project Manager will lead and manage the Generative AI and Large Language Models program and projects, with particular focus on Platform Development and Product Management. The ideal GenAI Project Manager will be responsible for handling scrum ceremonies, managing Jira plans and boards, ensuring proper documentation, overseeing product delivery and releases, as well as streamlining processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, software engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
Successful GenAI Project Managers will:
- Lead scope definition and communication sessions in collaboration with engineering, UI/UX, and business stakeholders to produce and track tasks in order to deliver accurate sizing and timeline estimates
- Collaborate with program lead and product managers to prioritize tasks, fill backlogs, resolve resource conflicts, and define project milestones
- Lead and manage scrum ceremonies for Platform Development and Product Management & Enablement projects
If you have / posses:
- 5+ years of experience in project management in a software development or AI environment
- PMP or PMI certification a big plus
- Experience holding daily Scrums, conducting sprint planning sessions, tracking project velocity, and forecasting project completion with EVA or Agile methodologies
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformational projects and programs in the financial services industry
- Demonstrated ability to use Project management tools (JIRA and Confluence a huge plus)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams at scale (at least 10+ people)
- Familiarity with AWS products and services - such as EC2, S3, VPC, as well as experience with GCP & Azure
- Strong grasp of current web and AI/ML technologies, as well as related business issues and use cases
